All items are handled and transported at the owner's risk.

A1 Contracting Marlborough Ltd will take all reasonable care during any relocation, removal, or property service.

We are fully insured, and our team works with care and professionalism at all times.

2. Booking & Job Details

When requesting a quote or booking a service, please provide clear details of your requirements, including:

Number of bedrooms (for moving/relocation jobs)

Any large or heavy items such as pianos, safes, gym equipment, or oversized furniture

Access considerations (stairs, driveways, limited space, etc.)

Inaccurate or incomplete information may affect your quote or our ability to complete the job.

3. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes are free and based on the details you provide.

Final pricing may vary if the job scope changes or additional work is requested on the day.

Prices are in NZD and subject to GST.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand plans change.

Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Last-minute cancellations may incur a fee to cover preparation and time lost.

5. Service Coverage

While we’re based in Blenheim, A1 Contracting Marlborough Ltd operates across New Zealand, including but not limited to Nelson, Christchurch, and surrounding areas.

6. Working Conditions

Our team reserves the right to refuse or reschedule work in unsafe or unsuitable conditions.

This includes, but is not limited to, hazardous materials, unsafe access points, or aggressive behaviour on-site.

7. Storage Services

Storage services are provided on a short- or long-term basis, depending on availability.

Customers are responsible for ensuring their stored items are properly packed and labelled.

Access to storage may require prior notice.

8. Liability

While we take all reasonable precautions, A1 Contracting Marlborough Ltd is not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions (e.g. fragile items, poor access, structural issues).

Any claims must be reported within 24 hours of job completion, with supporting evidence.

9. Payment Terms

Payment is required upon job completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept cash, bank transfer, and other common payment methods.

Overdue payments may incur late fees or collection costs.
